Killer is a game in which you have to find other players in the real world and eliminate them. You will use geo-localization information as well as photos of players to find them in your neighborhood. Once you found a possible victim, you will need to get close enough to her/him to be able to establish a Bluetooth connection to her/his iPhone. Then, you will press the "shoot" button. The iPhone of your victim will then ring with a surprising tone and she/he will immediately look around, scared, and probably will start Killer on her/his iPhone to discover she/he was killed by you. Then, you will come to her/him for a friendly photo session, which happens after every virtual assassination.

As a Killer player, you have a rank in the Killer's Hall of Fame. You rank depends on your score: the best ranked players have the highest scores. Your score is increased in several circumstances: when you play Killer and provide the Killer server with accurate localization information, when you take a photo of a player (including you), when your photos are rated by other players, and most importantly when you kill another player. In the later case, you will earn an amount of point equal to her/his score, thus making high ranked player interesting preys. Of course, if you get killed, you will loose your score...

You will rapidly discover that there are several possible strategies to become a successful killer.

A: Yes, while you play and up to one hour after you quit the Killer app.

A: You will be killed.

Q: How many points will I earn if I kill another player?
A: An mount of points equal to her/his current score.

Q: And how many points will I loose if I get killed?
A: All of them. But if you start a new game, you will be offered to purchase half of your previous score.

During the game, a number of personal information is sent to our web server, including possibly pictures of you, pictures taken by you of other players, your GPS localization information, as well as game specific information, including player name, score, ranking, status, etc. This information is published on the web site on the game and communicated to other players.
